Will the Minister of Panchayati Raj be pleased to state: .

  • whether the Government proposes to strengthen the manpower of the Gram Panchayats; .
  • if so, the details thereof; .
  • whether the Government proposes to increase the number of Panchayat Karmis to effectively monitor and implement the programmes of development planning; .
  • if so, the details thereof; and .
  • if not, the reasons thereto?
